Walton Africa Waste Company is a youth-led company dedicated to waste collection, sorting, and recycling to address the issue of climate change, indecent work, economic growth, and gender disparities.
We are also dedicated to converting plastic and textile, and food waste into eco-friendly products using the 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) to save our planet earth by adding value to them to become innovative items. Our company focuses on the empowerment of unemployed youths by training them on effective ways to earn income from recycling plastic and textile waste. We also engage in grassroots and creative awareness programs geared towards achieving a clean environment.

Our Objectives
- To reduce plastic pollution by collecting, sorting, and recycling waste into value-added innovative products.
- To mitigate the impacts of climate change through environmental conservation.
- To improve sanitation and hygiene in all communities by promoting waste recycling as an alternative income-generating entity.
- To create decent income-generating opportunities for youths and women from underserved and rural farming communities by equipping them with practical and entrepreneurial skills in producing, marketing and selling recycled products such as flakes, bags, shoes, flowerpots, etc.
- To bring climate change education to every household in Uganda, where 9 out of 10 households are well-informed about climate change and its impacts.
- To establish recycling environmental school clubs in over 500 schools in Uganda with the aim of reaching over 10 million young people about climate change education by 2030.
- To bridge the gap between opportunities among unemployed youths in Uganda. Our tool is the art of converting wastes as an economic survival skill. Through the training, the youth will learn to create, design, and market their products. These acquired skills are important in creating entrepreneurs who are not job seekers but job creators in the future.
Our Mission
To promote environmental and climate sustainable communities including indigenous and marginalized communities, through waste collection, sorting, and recycling to meet the urgent need for achieving the sustainable development goals by 2030. A world without waste while preserving our cultural heritage by impacting knowledge of innovation into youths and women through entrepreneurial skill acquisition programs in Uganda.
We also create waste recovery and value chain that protects the environment and our environmental stakeholders.

We envision a sustainable environment clean from waste pollution and a resilient community against climate change. Reducing the landfill space by recycling plastics, food, and textiles waste. Landfill sites are a threat to our environment as well as water supplies, therefore, calling
for an enhanced cooperation in waste management and climate change adaptation and mitigation, sustainable environmental management and livelihood improvement programs.
